This pack is based off the BIAS 35L alpine silhouette, built out with a 5L external avalanche tool compartment accumulating to a total volume of 40L. The dedicated avi tool pocket can also be used with ice tools for winter climbing use as well. The packs structure comes from an ABS plastic frame sheet and an overbuilt removable hip belt system. The primary white fabric used in the body is ULTRA 800X, my beefiest fabric around, the black used in the tool pocket is ULTRA 400X and the grey rolltop is ULTRA 200X by Challenge. The side compression straps can be used to A-frame skis if need be but this pack is designed for primarily skinning applications.
