About BIAS

BIO

In my early years growing up as a climber kid, there was always a need for unobtainable gear. Around age 14, I got my hands on a vintage industrial Pfaff sewing machine and started to design, build, and field test my own stuff. After finishing secondary school in Montana, I attended Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver, BC. Once I finished school, I continued to live in Canada for another decade working as a technician in the film industry to support my climbing and gear making passion.

Throughout my trials and tribulations of being my own product tester, I've continued to expand my sewing skills and construction methods. In 2024 I moved back to Bozeman, MT and have built out quite a dreamy little work space in order to take my design and production capabilities full on. I officially started BIAS Threadworks in 2025, everything I offer is made by me here in BZN, Montana. Thanks for taking a look around.
